The dbSpaces MongoSQL server provides users, application developers and IT managers with the ability to access and maintain MongoDB documents using SQL,
making the data available to a wide range of BI and Reporting applications through the
dbSpaces ODBC and JDBC APIs.
The dbSpaces MongoSQL server also allows noSQL access when using the available dbSpaces noSQL API's; C++, Java and COBOL
The dbSpaces MongoSQL server can be used for COBOL modernization by allowing COBOL applications to store their data in MongoDB as documents and enjoying all the features of MongoDB such as replication.
dbSpaces data dictionaries are also stored in MongoDB as documents in their own databases and are replicated as any other MongoDB database.
