The dbSpaces CORE Server only allows a single Data Source to used by a Virtual database, the dbSpaces Orchestration add-on allows Reporting and Business Intelligence tools to transparently access an organizations data from different data sources regardless of the location and format in real-time using a single virtual database.

The virtual database created in dbSpaces does not contain the data itself. Instead, it contains information about the actual data, its format and its location. The actual data is left in place.

dbSpaces Orchestration can be used in place of a data warehouse to save the cost of creating a new permanent, physical noSQL/SQL database.

This approach is especially useful if some of an organization's data is stored off-site by a third-party cloud service provider. It allows the person performing the analysis to aggregate and organize data quickly without having to request synchronization logic or copy the data until it's absolutely necessary.
